Samuel R. Allen - Deere’s Chairman Going to Retire on 1st May

After providing 45 years of dedicated service to Deere & Company Samuel R. Allen elected to retire on 1st May. Board of directors of Deere & Company has elected John C. May as the chief executive officer to become chairman over Allen’s retirement.  

John Deere is the world’s leading brand manufacturing agriculture, construction, forestry machinery, diesel engines, heavy equipment etc. Deere established in 1837 after that John Deere serves worldwide to its customers. Now John Deere the popular brand because of their quality products. 

Since 2010, Allen leads the company and recorded a huge boom and success. At his time of service, company growth was recorded in every field. The company spends its customer relationship, increased worldwide and huge growth in advanced and innovative technologies. 

In the leadership of Samuel R. Allen, John Deere developed exceptionally and uniquely. They introduced technologies that are advanced and that give effective and efficient work. They always think from the side of their customers and always take cares of their employees. 

Allen’s service was the time in which the highest earnings were recorded. He is the soul of the Deere business. One of the most outstanding evolutions in his service period was the technologies enhancement is the great element in John Deere Company. Allen introduced the Intelligent Solution Group in 20102 to evolve technologies and released them to market.  

As an industrial engineer, Allen started their service in 1975 at Deere after graduating from Purdue University. Then in 2001, Allen elected as the company’s senior management team as senior vice president for human resources and industrial relations. 

John said, “I always follow their footprint and vision, he is always my idol and I will try to lead the organization with honesty.”
