Tractor Retail Sales Increased by 34.14% in March 2021

Tractor Junction's research team created a monthly tractor retail sales report for March 2021. Retail Sales report is based on the tractor registrations in RTO Offices of India, except few states.

The Tractor Industry is achieving success with every month in their sales. March 2021 is also proving a great year for the tractor companies as they perform well, and rice in their retail tractor sales report noted. Overall, the tractor sold 67802 units in March 2021 compared to March 2020, and the tractor sold 50544 units. You can clearly see a growth of 34.14% in the retail tractor sales report in March 2021. 

Constantly this month is also best for Mahindra tractor as they recorded a gain of 24.22% in their retail tractor sales. They sold 14887 units in March 2021, and in March 2020, the sales were 11984 units. However, Mahindra tractor market share dropped down by 1.75%. 

Swaraj Tractor sales grew by approximately 19.55% in March 2021, with sales of 11535 units against 9649 units in March 2020. However, the company's domestic market share decreased ~2%.

Fastest growing Tractor company, Sonalika also recorded a creditable rise of 38.47% in retail tractor sales, with 8650 units sold in March 2021, against 6247 units in March 2020. The company increased their market share by 0.40% in March 2021. 

The most popular Indian brand Escorts Tractor sold 8531 units in March 2021, which is 28.83% more in comparison with 6622 units sold in March 2020. But, the company lost their market share by 0.53% in the same month. 

TAFE (Massey Ferguson)  registered retail tractor sales of 7050 units in March 2021, against 4812 units in March 2020. This shows a growth of 46.51% in the month of March. The company's market share grew from 9.52% in March 2020 to 10.40% in March 2021. 

John Deere Tractor recorded an 8.67% boost in their retail tractor sales in March 2021 as they sold 5880 units in March 2021 against 4638 units in March 2020. This time John Deere Tractor lost 0.50% of market share in the same month. 

A TAFE group company, Eicher tractor displays a 27.42% gain in retail tractor sales but lost in their market share by 0.34% in March 2021. The Eicher tractor sold 4350 units in March 2021, and in March 2020, the sales were 3414 units. 

With a sharp increase in retail tractor sales by 47.49%, New Holland Tractor also grabbed a 0.35% market share in March 2021. They sold 2615 units in March 2021 against 1173 units in March 2020. 

Kubota Tractor registered exceptional growth in retail tractor sales in March 2021 by 58.99%. With this, they also increased a market share of 0.29% this month. 

Accompanying other companies, including Preet, Vst, Force, Indo Farm, Gromax and Captain, also recorded tremendous growth in their retail tractor sales. On the other hand, SDF, ACE and others faced a decline in their retail tractor sales. Preet, Indo Farm and Captain maintained their market share in March 2021; however, Vst, Force, Growmax, SDF and ACE lost their market share in the same month.
