Domestic Tractor Sales Report March 2024: Sales Drop by 22.67%, 63,755 Units Sold

Domestic tractor sales in India declined 22.67% in March 2024. The brands sold 63755 tractors in March 2024, compared to the 82450 tractors sold in March 2023. However, industry insiders are looking forward to a significant uptick in the coming season.

Domestic Tractor Sales Report March 2024 - Brand Wise

India's top tractor manufacturer, Mahindra Tractor, achieved a sales figure in March 2024 by selling 24276 tractors. This reflected a drop of 27.80% when compared to March 2023, which sold 33622 tractors. Additionally, Mahindra experienced a 2.70% loss in its market share during this period. 

TAFE domestic tractor sales in March 2024 reached 10878 units, a 20.45% decrease from the previous year, when they sold 13674 tractors in March 2023. Additionally, TAFE's market share is 0.48%.

Sonalika International sold 8682 tractors in March 2024, a slight drop from the 10616 tractors sold in March 2023. This represents an 18.22% decrease in sales. The data also highlights a 0.74 % increase in the brand's market share.

In March 2024, Escorts sold 8054 tractors in March 2024, a 16.11% decrease from the tractor sales in March 2023, which were 9601 tractors. On the other hand, the company increased its market share by 0.99.

In March 2024, John Deere sold 5523 tractors, a 6.88% decline from the previous year's 5931 units. Furthermore, the brand's market share saw an upward trend of 1.47%.

In March 2024, New Holland sold 3062 tractors, a 17.40% decrease from the previous year, when 3707 units were sold. However, the brand's market share saw a positive growth of 0.31%. 

March 2024 saw Kubota tractor sales at 1301 units, a substantial decline of 48.90% compared to March 2023, when there were 2546 units. Concurrently, the company's market share also declined by 1.05%.

Captain Tractor sold 482 tractors in March 2024, marking a significant 3.79% decrease in sales compared to March 2023, which was tractors. Additionally, the brand experienced a modest 0.15% drop in market share.

The VST domestic sales report for March 2024 shows 475 tractors sold, a 17.25% decrease from 574 tractors sold in March 2023. The brand’s market share is 0.05%.

Preet domestic tractor sales saw a significant decrease of 33.72%, with 462 tractors sold in March 2024. The Preet domestic tractor sales were 697 units in March 2023. The report also highlights a minor downward trend of 0.12% in market share.

In March 2024, Indo Farm tractors experienced a 33.66% decrease in domestic tractor sales, with 412 tractors sold compared to 621 units sold in March 2023. The company lost its market share by 0.11% in this month. 

ACE tractor domestic sales reported a 67.88% decline, as this brand sold only 88 tractors in March 2024 compared to 274 tractors in March 2023. Moreover, ACE tractors' market share was lost by 0.19%. 

SDF tractor domestic sales in March 2024 declined by 30.23%, as it sold 60 units compared to 86 tractors in March 2023. As a result, the market share decreased by 0.01%.
