Domestic Tractor Sales Recorded Loss By 7.07% in FY24: Tractor Sold 874504

Domestic tractor sales in India recorded a loss in FY 2024 by 874504 units. The sales fell by 7.07% compared to the previous year where sales were 940985 units. We are showing a complete brand wise sales report with market share. Have a look down below. 

Domestic Tractor Industry Statistics - Brandwise 

Mahindra & Mahindra (Mahindra + Swaraj) registered a 6.42% decline in domestic tractor sales in FY’24. The company sold 364526 units in FY '24 and 389531 units in FY’23. Besides this, the Mahindra Tractor added 0.29% of market share. 

TAFE Group sales for FY'24 were recorded at 157503 units, compared to 169843 units in FY’23. TAFE Group domestic sales data for FY’24 shows a fall of 7.27%. The company market share also shows a downward trend by 0.04%. 

Sonalika Tractor sold 115369 units during FY '24, the sales were 116000 units in FY’23, which shows a clear decrease of 0.54% in its domestic tractor sales. On the other hand, the company maintained its market share by 0.86% this year.  

Escorts Group registered a 5.28% decrease in its yearly tractor sales with a gain of 0.19% market share. The company sales were 90239 units in FY '24, and the sales were 95266 units in FY’23. 

John Deere Tractors registered a 13.61% decline in domestic tractor sales. However, John Deere FY '24 tractor sold 71408 units, and in FY’23, tractor sales were 82658 units. And John Deere Tractors registered a 0.62% degrowth in market share. 

New Holland Tractor also recorded a 1.89% degrowth in domestic tractor sales, from 34697 units in FY '24 to 35367 units in FY’23. But, its market share gained by 0.21%.

Kubota Tractor domestic sales decreased by 27.90%.  As in FY’24, the tractor sales were 18538 units and in FY’23 sales were 25710 tractors. Kubota Tractor also lost 0.61% of market share in FY’24. 

Indo Farm Tractor sales also recorded a decrease in FY’24. The brand recorded 5307 units in FY’24, and in FY’23, it was 6445 units which is an evident 17.66% decrease in domestic tractor sales. Indo Farm Tractor lost 0.08% of its market share.

Preet Tractor recorded domestic tractor sales of 5488 units in FY’24, against 6390 units sold during FY’23, registering a decline of 14.12%. Preet Tractor also lost market share by 0.05% in FY’24.

VST Tractor recorded 31.61% of decline in domestic tractor sales in FY’24. VST Tractor company sold 3708 units of the Tractor in FY '24, and in FY’23, they sold 5422 units of tractors. The company also recorded 0.15% lost in market share.

Captain Tractor recorded domestic tractor sales of 4548 units in FY’24, against 4254 units in FY’23, registering a growth of 6.91%. Additionally, the company also gained its market share by 0.07%.

ACE Tractor market share decreased by 19.49% in FY’24. The company sold 2475 units in FY’24, which is 3074 units in the previous year. Along with this, the company also lost its market share by 0.04%. 

SDF Tractor market share decreased by 31.90% in FY’24. The company sold 698 units in FY’24, which is 1025 units in the previous year. The company’s market share also lost by 0.03%.
