Tractor Sales Registered 28.4% Growth in September 2020

Domestic tractor sales registered once again double digit growth in September 2020 as sales jumped by 28.4%. 

Tractor sales escalated emphatically because of the monsoon headway and extent. Blossom forth of the adequate monsoons, joyous Kharif season, and enhanced income in the rural regions, mass OEMs recorded significant progress in September 2020 domestic tractor sales. 

Tractor sales reported in September 2019 was 84639 units, and in September 2020, it is 108649 units, which shows a crystal clear rose by 28.4%. Check out below, brand-wise tractor sales report. 

Mahindra Tractors records a high rise in domestic tractor sales by 17.5%. Mahindra + Swaraj sold 42361 units in September 2020, and in September 2019, it recorded 36046 units. Mahindra Tractors records highest market share fall by -3.60% when compared to September 2019. 

TAFE tractor sales were 19973 units in September 2020 and 14473 units in September 2019, which displayed a boost in domestic tractor sales by 38.0%. TAFE brand maintained a gain of 1.28% market share in comparison to September 2019.  

Sonalika Registers Highest Monthly Sales.  Sonalika tractor sales registered a massive 51.4% rise in this month. It noted 16000 units domestic tractor sales in September 2020, which is 5429 units more than the September 2019 domestic sales report. They also gained 2.24% of the market share this month. 

Escorts Group - One of the oldest tractor brand in India Escorts Group registered an 8.9% growth in domestic tractor sales. Escorts sold 11453 units of tractors in September 2020 and 10521 units in September 2019. But it loses its market share by 1.89% in September 2020.  

John Deere Tractor also obtained a jump of 63.1% domestic tractor sales. Along with this, they keep up with a 1.92% market share in September 2020. In last month John Deere tractors domestic sales were 9805 units.
 
New Holland tractor sales bounce by 962 units. That shows 28.8% of gain in September 2020. New Holland Tractor sustained there market share in last month. 

Japanese company Kubota tractor who supplies KAI technology tractors also gained domestic tractor sales by 0.2%. They sold 1275 units in September 2020 and 1273 units in September 2019. On the other hand, Kubota Brand lost its market share by 0.33%. 

VST Tractor - The perfect Indian brand Vst Shakti a monumental gain in domestic tractor sales. They acquired 53.3% of growth in September 2020 by selling 949 units. Vst Tractor also sustained a 0.14% market share this month. 

Preet Tractors domestic sales also recorded a huge boom this month. It registered 656 units in September 2020 against 149 units in September 2019. This displays 340.3% growth, and it also manages to gain 0.14% of market share. 

 

 

Indo Farm Tractor Sales were 541 units in September 2020, and in September 2020, it was recorded as 328 units. This glaringly displays a gain of 64.9% in tractor sales. With this, Indo Farm Tractor as well gained a 0.11% of market share. 

Captain Tractor - The foremost mini tractor brand Captain grabs 85.4% of domestic tractor sales. And, it gained market share by 0.11% in September 2020. 

Force Tractor decreases 7.8% of domestic tractor sales in September 2020, which is not a good sign for the company. Force Tractor also lost its market share by 0.13% this month. 

SDF Tractor - SDF Brand faces a vast decrease in domestic tractor sales post lockdown. Sales plunged by 42.1% in September 2020. Along with this, the company also faced a 0.33% drop in market share. 

ACE Tractor gained 43.4% in its domestic sales this month. ACE tractor domestic sales noted in September 2020 were 284 units, and in September 2019 were 198 units. They also sustained a 0.03% market share.
