Retail Tractor Sales August 2022 Declined by 31.72%; Sold 49,305 Units

According to FADA tractor sales released, the total retail sales were 49,305 units in August 2022 as against 72,208 units sold in August 2021. This data shows a clear drop in retail tractor sales by 31.72%. 

Brand Wise Tractor Sales Report August 2022 

Mahindra Tractor is a well known brand, but this time the company recorded a loss of 27.11%. Mahindra retail tractor sales were 11,605 units in August 2022, and the company sold 15,921 units in August 2021. On the other hand, the brand's market share rose by 1.49% this month. 

Swaraj Tractor also recorded a loss in retail tractor sales in August 2022 by 29.58%. As a result, the company sold 8,135 units in August 2022 against 11,552 units in the same month of last year. As a result, Swaraj Tractor also recorded growth in market share by 0.5%. 

TAFE Limited sold 6,447 units during August 2022, the sales were 8,626 units in August 2021, which shows a clear drop of 25.26% in its retail tractor sales. Nevertheless, the company maintained its market share by 1.13% this year.  

Sonalika Tractor retail sales were 5,709 units in August 2022 compared to 8,252 units in August 2021 which illustrated an decrease in retail tractor sales by 30.81%. But, the brand's market share increased by 0.15%. 

Escorts Group earned a huge monthly loss by 35.13% in its tractor retail tractor sales. As a result, the company sold 4,882 units in August 2022 as compared to 7,526 units in August 2021. As a result, the Escorts Group lost market share by 0.52% in August 2022. 

John Deere Tractor, an innovative tractor manufacturer, recorded a decline in tractor retail sales by 31.46%. As a result, the company sold 3,740 units in August 2022 and in August 2021, the company sales were 5,457 units. But, this time, John Deere tractors maintained their market share by 0.03%. 

Eicher Tractor recorded a drop of 36.92% in August 2022. The tractor sales were 2,713 units in August 2022 compared to 4,301 units in August 2021. 

New Holland Tractor company recorded 31.25% drop in retail tractor sales in August 2022. But, the company also maintained its market share by 0.02%. 

Kubota tractor also registered a decline in tractor retail sales by 19.42% this month. The company sales were 1,340 units in August 2022, and in August 2021, the sales were 1,663 units. However, the company gained its market share by 0.42%. 

Force Tractor also recorded a loss of 31.86% this time in tractor retail sales. The Force tractor sales for the month were 278 units and 408 units in August 2021. As a result, the company also recorded a loss of market share by 0.01%. 

VST Tillers & Tractor is the most popular brand in the tractor industry. This time the company recorded a massive loss of 68.38% in the retail tractor sales report issued by FADA. The company also lost its market share by 0.89% in August 2022. 

Indo Farm Tractor recorded a hike in retail tractor sales in August 2022 by 9.12%. As a result, the company sold 311 units in August 2022 against 285 units in the same month of last year. As a result, Indo Farm Tractor also recorded growth in market share by 0.24%. 

Captain Tractors, this time recorded a drop by 82.71% in August 2022. The tractor sales were 283 units in August 2022 compared to 1,637 units in August 2021. 

Other than this, the retail tractor sales were 1,557 units in August 2022 compared to 2,578 units in August 2021 which also shows a drop of 39.60% in the retail sales market.
