Domestic Tractor Sales in March 2022 at 72891 Units, Declined By 14.34%

In March’22, Domestic Tractor sales diminished by 14.34%. The Total Tractor Sales in March 2022 stood at 72891 units against total tractor sales in March 2021, 85098 units. Domestic Tractor Sales Report of every Brand

Mahindra tractor sales indicate a 5.72% of decline in the month of March 2022. Mahindra Tractors sold 28112 units in March 2022, and in March 2021, they sold 29817 units. Besides this, Mahindra added 3.53% to its market share this month. 

According to Hemant Sikka, President - Agricultural Equipment Sector, M&M, record acreage of Kharif, a significant increase in exports of agricultural products like wheat, sugar, and cotton will help improve the financial condition of the farmers, leading to better cash flow in the rural market will lead to the tractor demand.

He also added: The Kharif crop land has already crossed last year's levels, which is a good sign for farm incomes. This will indeed get prompted by an early forecast of a normal monsoon. 

TAFE Group tractor sales declined in a domestic market by 28.22%. The company sold 11363 units of tractors in March 2022 against 15830 units in March’21. Additionally, TAFE Group also lost 3.01% of its market share in March 2022. 

Escorts Group also recorded a 19.16% reduction in domestic tractor sales, from 11730 units in March 2021 to 9483 units in March 2022. As a result, its market share declined by 0.77%.

Despite the downturn in the domestic tractor market during March 2022, escorts expect better sales in upcoming years. As Escorts mentioned, rising inflation is a thoughtful matter. They also hope a vigorous production of the Rabi crop this year, with benign water reservoirs, improved union budget for rural and agriculture sectors, and good signs of monsoon will lead to making an upbeat pace for the tractor industry.   

 

Sonalika Tractors registered an 18.97% decrease in domestic tractor sales. Sonalika’s March 2022 tractor sales noted down by 8971 units, and in March 2021, tractor sales were 11071 units. And Sonalika Tractors faced a 0.70% decrease in market share. 

John Deere Tractors registered a 24.91% decline in domestic tractor sales, from 8152 units in March 2021 to 6121 units in March 2022. As a result, its market share decreased by 1.18%.

New Holland Tractors reported a drop of 2.39% in domestic tractor sales, with 3265 units sold on March 22 against 3345 units on March 21. And the company's market share grows by 0.55%.

Kubota Tractors recorded domestic tractor sales of 2189 units on March 22, against 1792 units sold during March 2021, registering a growth of 22.15%. As a result, the company's market share escalated by 0.90%.

Indo Farm Tractors announced a decent growth of 27.46% in domestic tractor sales. In addition, the company recorded its highest-ever overall March sales figures, with 752 units sold in March 2022 against 590 units in March 2021. As a result, the tractor company also saw a marginal rise in its total domestic market share by 0.34%. 

Preet Tractors domestic sales noted 775 units in March 2022, and it registered 849 units in March 2021. They reported a loss of 8.72% in sales. The Preet Tractors market share shoot up by 0.07%.

Force Tractors domestic tractor sales increased by 2.50%. With this, the company added 0.12% to its market share. They sold 533 units in March 2022 against 520 units in March 2021.

VST Tractors Brand faces a high decline rate in domestic tractor sales in March 2022. Sales declined by 11.38% in March 2022. Along with this, the company's market share increased by 0.02%. 

ACE Tractors has shown a significant rise of 29.53% in total sales. ACE Tractors recorded domestic sales of 250 tractors in March 2022 against 193 tractors in March 2021. It helps them to add 0.12% to their total market share.

Captain Tractors domestic tractor sales registered a growth of 4.06%. The company sold 436 units in March 2022, against 419 units in March 2021. Along with this, the Captain Tractors market share increased by 0.11% last month.

SDF Tractors recorded 135 units sales in March 2022 and, on the other hand, 219 units sold in March 2021. As a result, it shows a 38.36% decline in SDF Tractors domestic sales. Along with this, SDF Tractors also lost its market share by 0.07%.
