Retail Tractor Sales Report FY’25 - Sales Decreased by 1.04%, 8,83,095 Units Sold

On April 7, 2025, FADA released retail tractor sales data, revealing a total of 8,83,095 units sold in FY'25 compared to 8,92,410 units in FY'24. This indicates a 1.04% decrease in tractor sales in India for FY'25.

Brand-Wise Tractor Sales Performance – FY’25

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (Tractor Division) sold 2,08,114 tractors in FY'25, higher than the 2,04,726 tractors sold in FY'24, indicating a 1.65% sales growth. Also, its market share in FY'25 stood at 23.57%, up from 22.94% in FY'24. The share increased by 0.63%.

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (Swaraj Division) saw a 3.48% growth in tractor sales, selling 1,65,562 units in FY'25 compared to 1,59,997 units in FY'24. Its market share was 18.75% in FY'25, up from 17.93% in FY'24, and increased by 0.82%.

International Tractors Limited sold 1,15,198 tractors in FY'25, slightly higher than the 1,14,228 units sold in FY'24. This shows 0.85% growth in FY’25. Furthermore, its market share was 13.04% in FY'25 and 12.80% in FY'24, increasing by 0.24%.

TAFE Limited experienced a drop of 8.16%, selling 99,286 units in FY'25 compared to 1,08,106 in FY'24. Its market share dropped to 11.24% in FY'25 from 12.11% in FY'24, declining by 0.87%.

Escorts Kubota Limited (Agri Machinery Group) sold 87,628 units in FY'25, down from 89,832 in FY'24, a decline of 2.45%. Furthermore, its market share was 9.92% in FY'25 and 10.07% in FY'24, a decline of 0.15%.

John Deere India Pvt Ltd (Tractor Division) recorded a 6.13% growth in sales, moving 67,518 tractors in FY'25, up from 63,620 in FY'24. Its market share rose to 7.65% in FY'25 from 7.13% in FY'24. The market share increased by 0.52%.

Eicher Tractors sold 57,213 units in FY'25, down from 59,538 in FY'24, showing a 3.91% decline. Its market share stood at 6.48% in FY'25, compared to 6.67% in FY'24, declining by 0.19%.

CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd sold 35,763 tractors in FY'25, slightly lower than 36,236 in FY'24, showing a marginal 1.31% drop. Its market share remained almost unchanged at 4.05% in FY'25 and 4.06% in FY'24, decreasing by 0.01%.

Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. saw a 15.02% decline in sales, delivering 15,033 units in FY'25 compared to 17,691 in FY'24. Its market share dropped to 1.70% in FY'25 from 1.98% in FY'24, declining by 0.28%.

Other Brands sold 31,780 tractors in FY'25 versus 38,436 in FY'24, recording a 17.32% fall. Their market share was 3.60% in FY'25 and 4.31% in FY'24, declining by 0.71%.
