Raul Rebello to Lead Mahindra Finance as MD and CEO From 2024

Mahindra Finance, one of the leading vehicle finance companies in India, has announced a major restructuring in its top management. The company, in a press release, said recently passed Friday that Mr Raul Rebello will be serving as MD & CEO for the company from the next year.

Mr Raul, who is serving and has served as COO (Chief Operating Officer) for quite a time, will take his new charge as soon as the current MD & CEO, Mr Ramesh Iyer, retires. This incident is scheduled to happen on April 29th, 2024, Mahindra Finance added in the same press release.

Talking about Mr Raul’s contribution to Mahindra Finance, aged 45, he joined as COO on September 1, 2021. Just before joining Mahindra Finance, he had a 19-year old service record with the infamous Axis Bank as Executive Vice President and Head, Rural Lending and Financial Inclusion.

“Mr Raul has a thorough experience in rural banking, handling assets and taking on liabilities with responsibility. He’s a futuristic thinker and visionary when it comes to accelerated growth and incubation ideas”, said Mahindra Finance in the press statement. Further adding to the statement, Mahindra Finance said, “ Mr Raul thought process and leadership capabilities gels well with Mahindra Group’s core purpose tossed as ‘Rise’. He knows the importance of impacting livelihood of country’s low income segment and is very much passionate about it.”

Furthermore, a Post Graduate of the Goa Institute of Management, he’s one of the most capable professionals from the finance sector, the press statement silently added.
