Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales Dropped by 20% in June 2022

Escorts Kubota total tractor sales (Domestic + Export) plugged by 19.8% in June 2022. As a result, the company sold 10,051 units in June 2022 in comparison to 12,533 units sold in June 2021. 

Consecutively, tractor sales escalated by 19.36% in June 2022 from 8,421 units sold in May 2022.

Escorts Kubota Domestic sales in June 2022 were 9,265 units, whereas tractor sales in June 2021 were 11,956 units, clearly showing a 22.5% year-on-year decline in sales. 

The company said, “The industry wholesalers were impacted during the month of June 2022 due to the high base of last year. With onset of monsoon, and likely record kharif crop production, rural liquidity and farmer sentiments are expected to gradually improve.”

Escorts Kubota Exports Tractor Sales in June 2022

In June 2022, the export tractor sales of the company were 786 units, and in June 2021, the exports were 577 units. This data shows a rise in tractor export by 36.2%. 

And, the Escorts Kubota tractor quarterly total sales increased by 3.3%. The company sold 26797 units in Q1 FY23 compared to 25,935 units in Q1 FY22. Quarterly domestic tractor sales rose by 0.4% as the sales were 24608 units. And, the Export tractor sales of the company increased by 52.5% to 2,189 units in Q1 FY23. 

Escorts Kubota Construction Equipment Sales in June 2022

Escorts Kubota Construction Equipment Sales in June 2022 recorded a growth of 22.5% year on year. The company sold 321 machines in June 2022 compared to 262 machines sold in June 2021. 

The company said, “In June 2022, growth trend continued in the Construction Equipment industry due to the low base of last year. With Government thrust on infrastructure , we expect growth momentum to continue in the current fiscal year 2022-23.”

Along with this, the Escorts Kubota ECE recorded 966 units for the 1st quarter of the year and 606 units in the 1st quarter of last year, indicating an evident growth of 59.4%. 

Escorts Kubota Net Profit 

The company’s net profit registered a 28.1% decline to Rs. 190.92 crore and a 15.7% decrease in revenue from performance to Rs 1,878.51 crore in Q4 FY22 compared to Q4 FY21. Escorts Kubota shares dropped by 0.37% at Rs 1,436.75 on the BSE.
