Escorts Kubota Announces Tractor Price Increase: Farmtrac, Powertrac, and Kubota Costlier Soon

Faridabad, 30 October 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) has announced a price increase across its Kubota, Farmtrac and Powertrac tractor ranges. The revised prices will apply from November 2026, after the festive season.
The company said the increase will not be the same for every tractor. It will vary by model, variant and geography. Buyers can get the revised tractor prices from authorised dealerships. EKL has not shared the percentage or amount of the increase.
Reasons Behind the Tractor Price Hike
Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) linked the decision to the continued rise in input costs. These include raw materials, energy, logistics and manufacturing expenses, which the company says are mainly affected by inflation and ongoing geopolitical uncertainty.

The company said it has been working on cost optimisation and operational efficiency for the past several months. It has also absorbed a large part of the higher costs itself. With input costs still elevated, EKL said a price revision became necessary to partly offset the higher manufacturing and operating expenses.

Recent Tractor Launches by Escorts Kubota
EKL's recent tractor launches include the Farmtrac PROMAXX series, the Powertrac Shaurya series and an expanded Digitrac range. On the Kubota side, the company offers the NeoStar and MU series. The company says it is also expanding its dealer network to give farmers a wider choice of application-specific tractors.
