Escorts Kubota Adds 3 New Models to Digitrac Tractor Range

Escorts Kubota Limited has launched a full Digitrac tractor series under its Powertrac brand. Earlier, Digitrac had only two models. Now, the range has been increased to five models in the 45–55 HP category. These tractors are built for farm work as well as heavy transport. The series is now available across India.

The company has added three new models to the Digitrac range — Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43+i, and Digitrac PP 41i. The earlier models, Digitrac PP 46i and Digitrac PP 43i, are already well known among farmers. With these new models, farmers now have more choices in the same HP range. Escorts Kubota sells tractors in India under three brands, i.e., Kubota, Farmtrac, and Powertrac. Digitrac comes under the Powertrac brand, which focuses on budget-friendly tractors. This is the company’s fourth tractor launch since February 2025, following the Farmtrac Promaxx Series, the Kubota MU4201 and the Powertrac Shaurya Paddy Series.

Key Features and Performance

All five Digitrac models come with a bigger engine capacity and large tyres. They have a 12 forward + 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox and side shift gears for easy operation. These tractors also offer independent PTO (iPTO) and a lifting capacity of 2000 kg. They support modern farm implements like Super Seeder, Reaper, Reversible MB Plough, and Laser Leveller. The Digitrac PP 43+i gives a top speed of up to 39.9 km/h, which is one of the highest in this segment.

Company Statement and Farmer Focus

Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, said, “This is our fourth new tractor introduction since February 2025, across all three brands. This steady pace of launches shows where we are as a company. Each launch helps us strengthen our product range and move closer to a stronger position in the Indian market.”

Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director, said, “Digitrac has built a strong identity with its design and acceptance among young farmers. Expanding it into a full series of five models is the next step. We see good scope to grow this product across India and increase its role in the Powertrac business.”

Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division, added, “Digitrac is now a complete tractor series for new age farmers. With its ‘Style to Kill, Performance to Thrill’ position, it brings five models with bigger engines, a 12+3 gearbox, independent PTO, and a top speed of up to 39.9 km/h. These features were earlier seen only in higher HP tractors. Now, we are bringing them to the 45–55 HP range, along with good fuel use and value that Powertrac is known for.”
