Krishi Darshan Expo 2025 : Advanced Tractor Models with New Features Showcased in Hisar

15-Feb-2025: The Krishi Darshan Expo 2025 has officially started in Hisar, Haryana. This event, now in its 13th edition, is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the Department of Agricultural Cooperation, and NRFMTTI. The expo brings together India’s leading tractor manufacturers, who are showcasing their latest models with cutting-edge features. 

On the first day of the 3-day event, famous companies like Mahindra, Eicher, Massey Ferguson, and New Holland showcased their tractors. These tractors are designed to improve farming efficiency.

The grand opening ceremony was attended by the CM of Haryana, Nayab Saini, who inaugurated the expo. The key attendees at the inauguration of the Krishi Darshan Expo 2025 included:

• Prof. Baldev Raj Kamboj, Vice Chancellor of Haryana Agricultural University
• S. Rukmini, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare

8 Tractor Models with New Features Displayed

The Krishi Darshan Expo 2025 showcased a total of 8 tractor models with new features. Among these, Mahindra displayed 5 tractors, Eicher presented one, Massey Ferguson showed one, and New Holland exhibited one tractor model. These tractors from various companies come with enhanced features, and the models on display are as follows:

• Mahindra Yuvo Tech Plus 475 DI Tractor
• Mahindra Yuvo Tech Plus 575 DI Tractor
• Mahindra Yuvo Tech Plus 585 DI Tractor
• Mahindra 475 DI MS XP Plus Tractor
• Eicher 551 Super Plus Prima G3 4WD Tractor
• Massey Ferguson 9500 Smart 4WD Tractor

New Features in Mahindra Tractor Models

At the Krishi Darshan Expo 2025, Mahindra displayed 5 of its tractor models with upgraded features, which are as follows:

Mahindra Arjun 605 DI MS V1 Tractor:

This 4WD tractor features 16 forward and 4 reverse-speed levers, enabling it to work in wet soil. It has side-shift gears that enhance comfort and comes with a dual clutch or optional SLIPTO clutch for less fatigue and more productivity. It can easily handle implements like 2 MB reversible ploughs, straw reapers, potato planters, and super seeders. This tractor has a strong hydraulic capacity and can lift up to 2200 kg. It is equipped with factory-fitted tow hooks and a stabiliser bar. The Mahindra Arjun 605 DI MS V1 tractor can reach a speed of 1.9 to 32.5 km/h, making it suitable for all implements.

Mahindra Yuvo Tech Plus 475 DI, 575 DI, 585 DI Tractors: 

The Mahindra Yuvo 475 DI Tractor offers 32.8 kW (44 HP), the Yuvo Tech Plus 575 DI has 35 kW (47 HP), and the Yuvo Tech Plus 585 DI delivers 36.75 kW (49.3 HP). These tractors feature an advanced engine and transmission with 4 cylinders, 12 forward and 3 reverse genuine side-shift gears, and best-in-class hydraulic capabilities. The lifting capacity of these models is 1700 kg, and they come with a 6-year warranty.

Mahindra 475 DI MS XP Plus Tractor:

The Mahindra 475 XP Plus is a new tractor from Mahindra's XP Plus Tough Series. This tractor falls in the 31.3 kW (42 HP) range and is backed by a 6-year warranty. It is unmatched in power, featuring a 4-cylinder engine with a high torque of 167 Nm. The PTO power is 27.9 kW (37.5 HP), and its rated RPM is 2000 RPM. 

The tractor comes with dual-acting power steering, with an optional manual steering variant. It has 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, along with a single (standard) or optional dual-clutch, RC-RPTO. Furthermore, the hydraulic pump flow is 29.5 liters per minute, and it can lift weights up to 1500 kg.

New Features in Eicher 551 Super Plus Prima G3 4WD Tractor

The Eicher 551 Tractor now offers perfect speed options for every implement. It features a 12 + 3-speed option along with a 13 + 3 gearbox. The tractor also has a 160 kg front weight with jerry can weights. 
One of its key features is its long wheelbase, and it comes with large 16.9 X 28 tyres. The tractor also includes an AUX valve. Some of the unique features of the Eicher 551 Super Plus Prima G3 4WD are:

• Premium Styling: It comes with an aerodynamic single-piece metallic hood with a bold grill and wraparound headlights, offering improved airflow and an attractive look. It also features a Digi NXT dashboard with trip meters, service alarms, and 16-point monitoring.
• Perfect Comfort: The tractor features a specially designed, comfortable seat and a larger platform for better access to controls. It also includes a “Walk Me Home” function that lights up your path and a pull-to-open fuel cap for easy filling, similar to car fuel caps.
• Progressive Technology: With the HT-FS engine, this tractor delivers higher torque and better fuel efficiency. The water-cooled engine keeps the tractor cool during extended use, and the 12+3 gear system offers better speed options in low, medium, and high ranges.
• Hydrometric Hydraulics: It features a high-sensitivity hydraulic system with over 300 sensing steps. The 4-in-1 PTO mode allows seamless use of MS PTO, R PTO, GS PTO, and LIP PTO for various implements.
• Other Features: The tractor also has 160 kg of jerry can weights for better stability, auxiliary valves, multi-disc oil-immersed brakes, one-touch bonnet opening, a USB charging box, a large fuel tank, and over 2100 kg hydraulic capacity.

New Features in Massey Ferguson 9500 Smart 4WD Tractor

The Massey Ferguson 9500 Smart 4WD tractor is a 50 HP model with a powerful 2700 CC engine. It comes with an in-line E20 fuel pump and features a 12+4 gearbox. The rear tyres are sized 16.9x28, and the front tyres are 9.5x24. This tractor can lift up to 2500 kg, making it highly durable for heavy-duty tasks.

New Features in New Holland 3600-2 TX All rounder Tractor

The New Holland 3600-2 Tractor comes with an upgraded FPT engine based on European technology. It also features clear lens halogen headlights with LED DRL signature lights for better visibility. Additionally, the tractor has a side silencer, double footsteps, and a new platform with heat guards. 

This model is backed by a 6-year warranty. It delivers 49.5 HP (36.94 kW) and can handle various implements such as cultivators, MB ploughs, trolleys, straw reapers, rotavators, and laser land levellers with ease.
