Retail Tractors Sales Report February 2024 - Tractor Sales Increase By 11%, 76,626 Units Sold

On 7 March 2024, FADA released Retail Tractor Sales Data. The data shows the total tractor sales, which were 76626 units in February 2024 compared to 69034 units sold in February 2023. As a result, tractor sales in India showed an upward trend of 11% in February 2024. 

Brand Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024

In February 2024, Mahindra sold 17,490 tractors, which is higher than the 15,889 tractors sold in the same month last year. This shows a growth of 10.08% in sales. However, despite the increase in sales, the company's market share decreased by 0.19% in February 2024.

In February 2024, Swaraj Tractor, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, saw a 13.00% increase in tractor sales compared to February 2023. They sold 14,100 units in February 2024, up from 12,478 units in February 2023. Additionally, Swaraj Tractor's market share increased by 0.32%.

In 2024, INTERNATIONAL TRACTORS LIMITED sold 9,841 tractors in India, 14.18% more than the 8,619 units sold in February 2023. The company also increased its market share by 0.35%.

TAFE Limited increased its market share by 1.27%. The company sold 25.71% more tractors at retail. In February 2024, they sold 8,307 units, compared to 6,608 units in February 2023.

In February 2024, Escorts Tractor sold 7,449 units, which is more than the 7,344 units sold in February 2023. This means there was a 1.43% increase in sales for February 2024. However, despite the increase in sales, the company's market share decreased by 0.92%.

In February 2024, John Deere Tractor company sold 5,906 units, which is slightly less than the 5,958 units sold in February 2023. This means there was a 0.87% decrease in tractor sales compared to last year. Additionally, the company's market share dropped by 0.92% in February 2024.

In February 2024, Eicher Tractor sold 5,366 units, which is 36.47% more than the 3,932 units sold in February 2023. Furthermore, the company increased its market share by 1.30%.

New Holland Tractor noted 3,016 unit sales in February 2024 and 2,656 units in February 2023. This data shows a hike of 13.55% in February 2024. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.09% in the same month. 

Kubota Tractor sold fewer tractors in February 2024 than in February last year. They sold 1,735 units this February, less than the 1,966 units sold in February last year. This decrease in sales meant their market share grew slightly less compared to last year, by about 0.59%.

In February 2024, Captain Tractor sold twice as many tractors as it did in February of the previous year. It sold 498 tractors this February, compared to 249 tractors last February. Moreover, the company kept its share of the market the same, staying strong.

In February 2024, VST Tillers & Tractor sold 341 units, which is 26.19% less than the 462 units they sold in February 2023. In addition, their retail market share dropped by 0.22%.

In February 2024, besides this brand, other brands experienced a 10.30% decrease in sales. The number of tractor sales in February 2024 was 2,577 units, compared to 2,873 units in February 2023. Consequently, the market share also decreased by 0.81% in the same month.
