Retail Tractors Sales Report December 2023 - Tractor Sales Increase By 0.22%, 78,872 Units Sold

8th January 2023, FADA released Retail Tractor Sales Data. The data shows the total tractor sales which was 78,872 units in December 2023 compared to 78,700 units sold in December 2022. As a result, tractor sales in India show an upward trend of 0.22% in December 2023. 

Brand Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2023

Mahindra tractor sales recorded 18,580 units in December 2023 and 19,393 units sold in the month of the previous year. The comparison of sales shows a 4.19% degrowth in Mahindra tractor sales. As a result, the company also lost 1.08% of the market share in December 2023. 

Swaraj Tractor division of Mahindra & Mahindra faced a growth in their tractor sales in December 2023 by 11.26%. The company sold 14,377 units in December 2023 against 12,922 units in December 2022. Along with this, Swaraj Tractor gained its market share by 1.81%. 

Sonalika Tractors faced a hike of 16.48% in retail tractor sales in India 2023. The company sold 11,335 units in December 2023 compared to 9,731 units in December 2022. Along with this, Sonalika Tractor gained its market share by 2.01%. 

Escorts Tractor sold 8,154 units in December 2023 compared to 7,761 units in December 2022. This shows an evident 5.06% rise in December 2023 sales. Along with this, the company registered a 0.48% gain in market share. 

TAFE Limited gained its market share by 0.21%. The company recorded a hike in retail tractor sales by 2.32% The sales were 8,056 units in December 2023 and 7,873 in December 2022. 

Eicher Tractor registered a 12.32% growth in tractor sales in December 2023. The company sold 5,643 units in December 2023 and in December 2022, the sales were 5,024 units. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.77%. 

John Deere Tractor company sold 5,232 units in December 2023 compared to 6,507 units in December 2022. The Data shows a 19.59% downfall in tractor sales. The company also lost its market share by 1.64% in December 2023. 

New Holland Tractor noted 3,349 unit sales in December 2023 and 3,290 units in December 2022. This data shows a hike of 1.79% in December 2023. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.07% in the same month. 

Kubota Tractor recorded a decrease in retail tractor sales in December 2023 by 36.38%. As a result, the company sold 1,518 units in December 2023 against 2,386 units in the same month of last year. As a result, Kubota Tractor recorded degrowth in market share by 1.11%.

VST Tillers & Tractor sales dropped by approximately 37.53% in December 2023, with sales of 288 units against 461 units in December 2022. Along with this, the company's retail market share decreased by 0.22%.

Captain Tractor company recorded a 27.80% growth in retail tractor sales in December 2023. Along with this, the company also maintained its market share by 0.08%. The company sold 285 units in December 2023 against 223 units in the same month of last year. 

Apart from this, other brands recorded a 34.32% downturned in December 2023. The tractor sales were 2,055 units in December 2023, as against 3,129 units in December 2022. As a result, the market share also lost by 1.38% in the same month.
