Retail Tractor Sales Hike by 21.16% in January 2024 - Sold 88,671 Tractors

13th Feb 2024, FADA released Retail Tractor Sales Data. The data shows the total tractor sales which was 88,671 units in January 2024 compared to 73,184 units sold in January 2023. As a result, tractor sales in India show an upward trend of 21.16% in January 2024. 

Brand Wise FADA Tractor Sales Report 2024

Mahindra tractor sales recorded 20,474 units in January 2024 and 16,969 units sold in the month of the previous year. The comparison of sales shows a 20.66% growth in Mahindra tractor sales. As a result, the company also lost 0.10% of the market share in January 2024. 

Swaraj Tractor division of Mahindra & Mahindra faced a growth in their tractor sales in January 2024 by 32.02%. The company sold 16,456 units in January 2024 against 12,465 units in January 2023. Along with this, Swaraj Tractor gained its market share by 1.53%. 

Sonalika Tractors faced a hike of 28.63% in retail tractor sales in India 2024. The company sold 11,515 units in January 2024 compared to 8,952 units in January 2023. Along with this, Sonalika Tractor gained its market share by 0.76%. 

TAFE Limited gained its market share by 1.53%. The company recorded a hike in retail tractor sales by 38.12% The sales were 11,003 units in January 2024 and 7,966 in January 2023. 

Escorts Tractor sold 8,185 units in January 2024 compared to 7,675 units in January 2023. This shows an evident 6.64% rise in January 2024 sales. Along with this, the company registered a 1.26% loss in market share. 

Eicher Tractor registered a 27.01% growth in tractor sales in January 2024. The company sold 6,226 units in January 2024 and in January 2023, the sales were 4,902 units. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.32%. 

John Deere Tractor company sold 5,739 units in January 2024 compared to 5,782 units in January 2023. The Data shows a 0.74% downfall in tractor sales. The company also lost its market share by 1.43% in January 2024. 

New Holland Tractor noted 3,501 unit sales in January 2024 and 2,858 units in January 2023. This data shows a hike of 22.50% in January 2024. Additionally, the company also gained market share by 0.04% in the same month. 

Kubota Tractor recorded a decrease in retail tractor sales in January 2024 by 25.47%. As a result, the company sold 1,732 units in January 2024 against 2,324 units in the same month of last year. As a result, Kubota Tractor recorded degrowth in market share by 1.23%.

Captain Tractor company recorded a 290.25% growth in retail tractor sales in January 2024. Along with this, the company also maintained its market share by 0.72%. The company sold 921 units in January 2024 against 236 units in the same month of last year. 

VST Tillers & Tractor sales dropped by 14.96% in January 2024, with sales of 483 units against 568 units in January 2023. Along with this, the company's retail market share decreased by 0.24%.

Apart from this, other brands recorded a 2.05% downturned in January 2024. The tractor sales were 2,436 units in January 2024, as against 2,487 units in January 2023. As a result, the market share also lost by 0.65% in the same month.
