Tractor Retail Sales Record 18.94% Growth in FY 2026: FADA

Tractor retail sales in India saw strong growth in FY 2026. According to FADA Research, total tractor sales reached 10,50,077 units, compared to 8,82,825 units in FY 2025. This reflects an overall growth of 18.94% in the market.

The increase in sales indicates strong rural demand and positive momentum across key agricultural regions. Dealers also reported improved customer sentiment and higher footfall compared to the previous year. Below is the detailed brand-wise performance.

FADA Brand-wise Tractor Retail Performance – FY 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (Tractor Division) remained the market leader. The company sold 2,49,973 tractors in FY 2026, up from 2,08,056 units in FY 2025. This reflects a growth of 20.14%. Its market share increased from 23.57% to 23.81%, showing a rise of 0.24%.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (Swaraj Division) recorded sales of 1,96,975 units in FY 2026, compared to 1,65,565 units in FY 2025. This represents a growth of 18.97%. Its market share remained stable, increasing slightly from 18.75% to 18.76%, up by 0.01%.

International Tractors Limited (Sonalika) reported sales of 1,34,030 units in FY 2026, up from 1,15,162 units in FY 2025. This marks a growth of 16.38%. However, its market share declined from 13.04% to 12.76%, down by 0.28%.

TAFE Limited sold 1,18,326 tractors in FY 2026, up from 99,257 units in FY 2025. This shows a growth of 19.21%. Its market share increased slightly from 11.24% to 11.27%, a gain of 0.03%.

Escorts Kubota Limited (Agri Machinery Group) saw strong growth during the year. The company sold 1,14,468 tractors, compared to 87,631 units in FY 2025. This is a growth of 30.63%. Its market share increased from 9.93% to 10.90%, an improvement of 0.97%.

John Deere India Pvt Ltd (Tractor Division) recorded sales of 80,086 units in FY 2026, compared to 67,409 units in FY 2025. This reflects a growth of 18.80%. However, its market share slightly declined from 7.64% to 7.63%, down by 0.01%.

Eicher Tractors reported sales of 65,215 units, up from 57,198 units in FY 2025. This represents a growth of 14.02%. Its market share slipped from 6.48% to 6.21%, a decrease of 0.27%.

CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd recorded sales of 47,122 units in FY 2026, compared to 35,746 units in FY 2025. This marks a strong growth of 31.81%, one of the highest in the market. Its market share increased from 4.05% to 4.49%, rising by 0.44%.

The Others category sold 43,882 units in FY 2026, compared to 46,801 units in FY 2025. This shows a decline of -6.24%. Its market share also dropped from 5.30% to 4.18%, down by 1.12%.

Overall, the tractor retail market recorded strong growth in FY 2026. Most major OEMs posted healthy gains in sales, while market share trends remained mixed across brands.
