Krishi Mahotsav in Kota 2023 - Top Highlights of Day 2

With great pride and happiness, Krishi Mahotsav was a success at Dussehra ground in Kota, Rajasthan. Today marks the second day of this two-day event. 

Farmers from various regions, including Kota, Bundi, Bada, and Jhalawar attended this two-day Kisan Krushi Pradarshan with great zeal.

Highlights of Krishi Mahotsav Kota, Rajasthan - Day Two (25th Jan 2023)

Here are the top highlights of Krushi Pradarshan in Kota for day two:

Om Birla, Lok Sabha Speaker, drove the tractor to state the importance of having the best farming tractors. While Kailash Chaudhary, Union Minister & Lok Sabha Speaker, was seen flying drones to state the importance of drones in agriculture, especially while applying fertiliser and materials. 

Value Addition by Processing Production!

"Farmers will have to improve practices to increase their income potential. He said they have to adopt the best technologies to be able to produce crops at low cost to attract high margins. Farmers will now have to add to their production by selling processed goods if they want to increase their earning possibilities.” — Added Om Birla.

Indian Production Appreciated in Netherlands & Mexico

Om Birla, during the Kisan mela 2023 shared how he has visited many internationals that appreciate Indian crops. He shared  —

• Indian coriander is praised in Dubai.
• The Netherlands praised Bundi of Rajasthan. 
• And in Mexico, wheat seeds were invented by an Indian (who is the Director of the Agricultural University of Mexico).

Rajasthani Millets are Reaching Corners!

Kailash Chaudhary in Krishi Mahotsav Kota 2023 shared how the Indian government has increased the budget to 13,2000 crores from 23000 crores in 2013.

The govt. is forming a “Farmer Producer Organization” to help farmers process & market their produce. There will be an  “Agriculture Infrastructure Fund, to help farmers gain accessibility to farming equipment.

Lalchand Kataria, Rajasthan Minister, expressed the great need for farmers to increase their farming technology to start selling at a low cost.

Udaylal Anjana (Cooperative Minister) shares great news that there are 800 MSP centres, compared to 250 centres earlier.

Future Plans - What to Expect!

In Kisan Krushi Pradarshan, ministers shared great insights, schemes and growth opportunities for Rajasthan farmers. There is a great plan to increase storage capacity by creating more godowns. Also, funds of Rs 2000 crores are mobilised to the cooperative dept. for MSP or similar purchases.

• Over 150 stalls provided benefiting information on best agriculture practices, inputs and farming tractors. 

“Tractor Junction at Krishi Mahotsav 2023 - Used Tractors Demand Increased”

The TractorJunction team attended Krishi Mahotsav in Kota, Rajasthan on 24th & 25th Jan 2023. We spread awareness of the best farm mechanisation solutions, mainly the latest farming tractors, old tractors and farming implements from top Indian tractor OEMs.

Our stall with 4-5 second-hand tractors received great attention from farmers, private institutions, and government-owned agricultural dept. available at the event. The aim of participating was to share the best choices regarding the latest farming tractors and other important agricultural inputs.

We saw huge success in helping farmers and agriculturists get hold of the best new and second-hand tractors. We showcased our products and spread knowledge on where to find our 9 verified used tractor showrooms in PAN India.

Big news, during Krishi Mahotsav Kota 2023,  we cracked the tractor deal owing to the great inquisitiveness of farmers. Many farmers and agriculturists showed great interest in used tractors during the Kisan Krushi Pradarshan in Kota. A huge crowd emerged around our stall, enquiring about the best pathway to acquire the farming tractors.

This year, farmers aim to increase their crop production. With this event, they were able to learn the latest farming techniques, technologies and ways to access farming equipment. 

Training Programmes for Indian Farmers 

At Krishi Mahotsav, visiting farmers & individuals took training on subjects of agriculture, organic farming, horticulture and animal husbandry. 

There was a workshop on the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund to support farmers in seeking knowledge and benefits.
