CNH India Crosses 8 Lakh Tractor Production at Noida Plant

Published - 12 May 2026 by Sakshi Yadav

CNH India, a global agriculture and construction equipment company, has reached a major manufacturing milestone. The company rolled out its 8 lakh tractor production from the Greater Noida facility on May 12, 2026. According to the company, this achievement reflects its strong support for Indian agriculture and the growing trust of farmers in its tractors and farm equipment.

The Greater Noida plant has been operational since 1999. It manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands for both Indian and international markets. Since the start of operations, the facility has produced more than 8 lakh tractors.

Production Growth Speeds Up at Greater Noida Plant

The company said the last 100,000 tractors were produced in record time. Earlier, the plant had crossed the 700,000 tractor production mark in 2024. Over the years, the facility has expanded its manufacturing operations. At present, the plant has an annual production capacity of nearly 60,000 tractors. The company is now increasing this capacity to 70,000 tractors per year. The plant manufactures a wide range of tractor models. These tractors are designed to meet different farming needs in India and global markets.

Speaking on the achievement, Ravi Kundra, Director Manufacturing Agriculture at CNH India, said the Greater Noida facility continues to play an important role in the company’s global manufacturing network. He added that reaching the 800,000 tractor milestone in the shortest time so far reflects the company’s manufacturing strength and rising demand in domestic and export markets.

Facility Supplies Products to More Than 90 Countries

Spread across 60 acres, the Greater Noida facility is one of the company’s major manufacturing hubs worldwide. Along with tractors, the plant also manufactures engines, transmissions, Power Take-Offs (PTOs), and axles for Indian and overseas markets. The facility produces more than 3,000 tractor variants under the New Holland and Case IH brands. At present, CNH India employs over 4,000 people in India. Products manufactured at the plant are exported to more than 90 countries. These markets include Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America.

Focus on Technology and Sustainable Manufacturing

The Greater Noida plant uses advanced manufacturing technologies and automation systems. It also follows strict quality control processes to improve production efficiency and product quality.

At the same time, the company is focusing on sustainable manufacturing practices at the facility. These efforts include rooftop solar power generation, water conservation initiatives, and plantation drives based on the Miyawaki method to increase green cover around the plant.
