Mahindra Tractor Sales Report March 2024: Sold 24276 Units, Dropped by 28%

Mahindra & Mahindra released Tractor Sales Report for March 2024. The company sold 24276 units in March 2024 as against 33622 units in March 2023 in the Domestic market. The company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2024 shows a 28% decline. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's Tractor Sales Report for March 2024 also shows a 26% increase. As, the company sold 1748 units in March 2024 in the Export market as against 1392 units sold in March 2023.

Mahindra tractor total sales recorded 26024 units in March 2024 as against 35014 units in March 2023 that shows a sales decline of 26%.

Mahindra & Mahindra also announced Year to Date (YTD) April to March Tractor sales figures for 2024. The company sold 364526 units in 2024 as against 389531 units in 2023 in the Domestic market. Company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2024 shows a 6% drop. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's YTD Tractor Sales Report 2023 shows a 23% decline. The Export sales were 13860 units in 2024 as compared to 18014 units in 2023. 

Mahindra tractor total sales recorded 378386 units in Year to Date 2024 as against 407545 units in Year to Date 2023 that shows a sales decline of 7%.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We have sold 24276 tractors in the domestic market during March 2024. Government announcement of increased advance estimates of horticulture production and Rabi wheat output higher than last year is expected to bring positive sentiments among farmers. Forecast of a normal South -West monsoon this year is expected to further boost tractor demand in the coming months. In the exports market, we have sold 1748 tractors, a growth of 26% over last year.”
