Mahindra Tractor Sales Report December 2022 - Domestic Tractor Sales Increased by 30%

The Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. recently revealed its December 2022 tractor sales report. The overall sales of Mahindra tractors in December 2022 were 23243 units, compared to 18269 units in December 2021. The overall Mahindra sales data for December 2022 shows a 27% increase.

Mahindra’s domestic tractor sales were registered at 21640 units in December 2022, compared to 16687 units in December 2021. The domestic tractor sales of Mahindra show a double digit rise in sales by 30%.

The export sales of Mahindra tractors were recorded at 1603 units in December 2022, compared to 1582 units in December 2021. The export sales data shows a hike in export sales by 1%.

Hemant Sikka, President - Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We have sold 21,640 tractors in the domestic market during December 2022, a growth of 30% over last year. Rabi crop sowing has progressed very well and is higher than last year's acreage and also higher than the average of the last 5 years. Wheat and oil seeds are expected to be bumper harvest. On the back of strong Rabi sowing, good kharif procurement and likely exports of wheat, the sentiments continue to remain upbeat in the farming sector, leading to strong demand for tractors and farm implements. In the exports market, we have sold 1,603 tractors, a growth of 1% over last year.”
