Mahindra Announced to Launch Lightweight K2 Series Tractors in 2023

Mahindra & Mahindra company is going to launch lightweight K2 Series tractors in 2023. 

The company recently disclosed their 4th quarter and full year FY2021 reports. With this, they also revealed their future product plans over the SUV, light commercial and tractor vehicle segments below 3.5 tonnes.  

In FY2021, Farm Equipment Sector (FES) division gained a robust profit from the company. The company is betting their profit will push the K2 tractor series, which manufactures in the joint venture with Mitsubishi of Japan. The K2 series is the Mahindra & Mahindra’s the most challenging lightweight tractor plan. These tractors are produced in Zaheerabad, which is situated in the state of Telangana. 

The partnership between the Mahindra Research Valley and Japan’s engineering teams of Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery of India comes with this news program. The main aim behind 2 lightweight series tractor programs is to manufacture international and domestic markets. 

The Mahindra will be going to provide a tractor in the Compact (9 models – 21-30hp), Sub-Compact (6 models – 20-25hp), Large Utility (11 models – 45-70hp) and Small Utility (11 models – 26-40hp) tractor categories. The series covers 37 new tractor models. K2 lightweight tractor series will cater to international as well as domestic markets, including South East Asia, Japan and the USA.
