Escorts Sold 5,707 Tractors in January 2022, Sales Drop of 36.7 Percent

The country's leading tractor manufacturer Escorts Agri Machinery has released the Tractor Sales Report for January 2022. Escorts sold 5,707 tractors in the domestic and export markets in January 2022. However, the sale of tractors is 36.7 Percent less than last year in January 2021. Escorts sold 9,021 tractors in January 2021. But the company has registered a growth of 21.5 per cent in sales monthly. The company sold 4,695 tractors in December 2021. The company expects better sales in the coming months.

Escorts Tractor Sales 5103 Tractors in Domestic Market and 604 Tractors in Export Market

Escorts Agri Machinery (Farmtrac Tractors, Powertrac Tractors and Digitrac Tractors) in January 2022 has received some disappointment from the domestic market while there is good news from the export market. Escorts sold 5103 tractors in the domestic market in January 2022. Whereas in January 2021, 8 510 tractors were sold in the market. Thus 3407 units fewer tractors have been sold. So, there is a drop of about 40 percent in sales. On the other hand, in the export market, Escorts Agri Machinery sold 604 units in January 2022 against 511 units in January 2021. Thus the growth of 18.2 percent has been registered in the export market.
