Escorts Agri Machinery Sold 4695 Tractors in Domestic Market in December 2021

Escorts Agri Machinery, which includes Powertrac Tractor, Farmtrac Tractor and Digitrac Tractor, combinedly sold 4695 units in December 2021. The sales were 7,733 units in December 2020, which clearly shows a decrease of 39.3%.

In December 2021, Escorts Group Domestic Tractor sales were at 4,080 units against 7,230 units in December 2020. As last year sales were high, the brand's wholesalers were affected, but on the other hand, rural cash flow began to improve, In December 2021. All macroeconomic variables, including water supply level, remain for the tractor industry. Therefore, we have taken a cost increment. However, rising expansion keeps on being a concern.

Escorts Group Export Tractor sales were 615 units in December as against tractors sold in December 2020, 503 units.
