Mahindra Tractor Sales Report January 2024: Sold 22972 Units, Decreased by 17%

Mahindra & Mahindra released Tractor Sales Report for January 2024. The company sold 22972 units in January 2024 as against 27626 units in January 2023 in the Domestic market. Company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2024 shows a 17% drop. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's Tractor Sales Report for January 2024 also shows a 25% decrease. As, the company sold 976 units in January 2024 in the Export market as against 1300 units sold in January 2023.

Mahindra tractor total sales recorded 23948 units in January 2024 as against 28926 units in January 2023 that shows a sales decline of 17%.

Mahindra & Mahindra also announced Year to Date (YTD) April to January Tractor sales figures for 2024. The company sold 320129 units in 2024 as against 331290 units in 2023 in the Domestic market. Company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2024 shows a 3% drop. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's Year to Date Tractor Sales Report 2024 reported a 32% drop.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – “We have sold 22972 tractors in the domestic market during January 2024. Retail momentum slowed down on account of the tapering of agricultural activities. Rabi crop output is expected to be good with prevailing cold conditions helping the key crop of wheat. Government announcement of a good estimate of Horticulture production, and continued government support to boost rural economy will aid positive sentiments and support tractor demand in the coming months. In the exports market, we have sold 976 tractors.”
