Any fruit that belongs to the Rutaceae family can be a citrus fruit. The pulp is covered in a thick rind, and it tastes tangy and refreshing.
Popularly called mosambi in India, this green-yellow fruit has a sweet taste and is also mildly acidic. It contains in it vitamin C, calcium, potassium, and iron.
One of the world’s most consumed fruits, orange has, well, an orange skin. Also a good source of vitamin C, in addition to flavonoids, and fibre.
Tangerines have a reddish hue to their orange skin, and have an aromatic pulp. Like all the other citrus fruits, this one has vitamin C as well.
Blood oranges are unique red coloured oranges, whose pulp is also red in colour. They contain nutrients that can prevent inflammation, cancer, and a lot more.
This is the largest fruit in the lot. It has a yellow rind with a pale pink-yellow pulp. It can lower cholesterol, sugar, and aid in weight loss as well.
