UP produces more than 5 million tonnes of mangoes annually, and this makes it the largest mango producer. The Dasheri, Chausa, and Langra cultivars are well known in the state.
The Land of Banganapalli Andhra Pradesh ranks second in mango production, with about 4.5 million tonnes per year. The state is known for its Banganapalli, Totapuri and Neelam varieties.

The Cradle of Rumani Tamil Nadu is the sixth largest producer of mangoes in India, with about 1.3 million tonnes per year. The state is famous for its Rumani variety, which has a juicy and tangy flavor.
