Orissa emerges as the top producer of BAEL, with a staggering production volume of 45.29 thousand tonnes, contributing 55.31% to the national output.
Jharkhand follows closely, contributing 33.38 thousand tonnes, which accounts for 40.76% of the total BAEL production in India.
Madhya Pradesh, though modest in comparison, plays a role with a production volume of 2.01 thousand tonnes, making up 2.45% of the national output.
Haryana contributes a smaller yet notable share, with a production volume of 0.78 thousand tonnes, constituting 0.95% of the total production.
Chattisgarh also participates in BAEL production, albeit with a minor share. It produces 0.43 thousand tonnes and contributes 0.53% to the national output.
Though its contribution is minimal, Himachal Pradesh contributes to national production with a volume of 0.01 thousand tonnes, representing 0.01% of the total output.
