Jammu & Kashmir's plum production stands at 13.53 thousand tonnes, accounting for 17.24% of the national share. Its cold regions are suitable for plum production.
Punjab plays a vital role in plum production, contributing 7.04 thousand tonnes with an 8.97% national share. That makes it the fourth largest producer.
Lastly, Nagaland's plum production reaches 2.72 thousand tonnes, making up 3.47% of the national share.
