Punjab Padmini is a hybrid okra variety from PAU, Ludhiana. It is resistant to diseases and pests and has good growth. It yields 10-12.5 t/ha of green okra.
A new okra type from Marathwada Agri Uni, Parbhani, fights the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus. It's tall, has dark green leaves, and yields 8.5-9 tons/ha of slender dark green fruits.

Hisar Unnat, bred by HAU in Hisar, India, resists the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus. It matures quickly, yielding 12-13 tons per hectare within 46-47 days. The fruits grow 15-16 cm with five ridges and thrive in all seasons.
