Pusa 1401 is a strong-yielding semi-dwarf variety. It features attractive and aromatic medium-sized grains. This variety takes approximately 150 days to mature.

Also known as Muchal Basmati, this Basmati Rice has a long-tipped point. Slender in form, these are soft to the palate and are usually used for cooking Biryani and Pilaf.
