Strawberries are enriched with vitamin C and various other antioxidants. This fruit helps fight diseases like cancer, diabetes, stroke, and other heart problems.
In India, strawberry cultivation areas are concentrated in Mahabaleshwar, Ooty, Idukki, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and India’s northeast states.
Dry sandy soil is best suited for strawberry plant growth and cultivation. Heavy waterlogging soils are not suitable for strawberry's overall growth.

The entire life of the strawberry plant is 8-9 months. Under normal conditions, the plant starts flowering after 35-40 days of the plantation.
When strawberry fruit gets its 50-75% natural crimson colour, it is advised to start harvesting. Morning is the most suitable time for harvesting.
