Select Rosemary seeds that are fresh and aromatic. Opt for varieties suited to your climate. Look for seeds with a high germination rate for successful cultivation.
Rosemary thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, preferring warm, dry climates with temperatures between 18-21°C and good air circulation. Avoid overwatering in humid conditions.
For growing Rosemary, ensure well-draining soil with a pH of 6.0-7.0. Mix compost and sand into the soil. Provide full sun exposure. Amend soil with organic matter.
For growing Rosemary, fertilize sparingly with a balanced fertilizer, preferably organic, in spring. Excessive fertilization can lead to leggy growth and diminished flavour.
For optimal growth, Rosemary requires well-drained soil and occasional watering. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot and have better plant growth.
Harvest rosemary by snipping sprigs from the plant. When the stems begin to come at least six inches long, cutting just above the leaf helps the growth of rosemary again.
