Mangoes are not called the King of the fruits for nothing. They’re low in calories, rich in fibre, not to mention being an amazing source of both vitamins A and C.
Sandy loam soil is best for mango production, but basically, it can grow right about any kind of soil. The ideal pH should be between 5.5 to 7.5.
The best climate to plant mangoes is from July to August, i.e., the rainy season. In other words, temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius would be ideal for mangoes.
Sowing mango seeds can be done ideally by digging holes into the soil at regular intervals and then sticking the seed right in, closing the ground after that.
Mango plants want water on a 10 to 15-day interval while they’re young. On the other hand, once they reach a certain level of maturity, you don’t have to water them a lot.
Finally, let us see about the mango harvest. At their ripe stage, mangoes become easily removable from their trees. That’s when you should remove the mangoes.
