Andhra Pradesh secures the second position in mango production, with 5001.74 MT last year. Regions like Vijaynagar and Krishna contribute significantly to the state's mango production.
Karnataka ranks third in mango production. The state's selected areas produce renowned varieties like Neelum, Pairi, Totapuri, Alphonso, and Mulgoa, contributing to its annual production of 8 lakh tonnes.
Bihar is a major name in mango production, recording 2434.65 MT last year. Noteworthy varieties like Gulab Khas, Bombai, and Chausa contribute to Bihar's thriving mango industry.
Gujarat is a sought-after state for mango production, particularly known for its delicious Kesar mangoes. Varieties like Langra, Rajapuri, Neelum, and Jamadar also flourish here, despite a slight decline in production last year.
