Cranberries are woody perennial vines that grow low. They belong to the family of Ericaceae.
Early blacks, howes, stevens, searles, ben lear are some types of Cranberries.
Cranberries grow in the USA, the UK, Canada, Central Europe, Asia and Argentina.
Location that receives full sun, has good drainage and fertile soil is ideal for growing cranberries.
Soil that has clay on the buttom of the bed, a layer of gravel, a layer of peat moss, topped with sand is ideal.
Prune or trim the crops when they get to the 3rd year of growth. Fertilise the soil with peat moss.
