Silvergrass can thrive in any rich, loamy soil & ph level. They need moist but well-drained soil to grow.
Being drought-resistant, they don’t require much watering. Just moist but not overly wet soil is enough.
Doesn’t require many fertilisers. Initial organic composting is enough to make this grass grow.
These grasses can flower well in summer. An extremely cold climate can kill the plant’s rhizomes.
Best season to grow is the early spring season (March to April), when the soil is moist enough to grow its root system.
