Yokohama Launches AGRI STAR II Tyre With Unique SLT Technology

AGRI STAR II R-I tyre is a technology marvel enabled with Stratified Layer Technology. The SLT offers higher lug competency, long tyre life, superior traction and less soil compaction. 

Alliance Tire Group, a fully-owned subsidiary of Yokohama Group, has recently announced the launch of  Agri Star II R – I tyres. It comes with modern Stratified Layer Technology, which aligns with the growing need of tractor owners. Yokohama Off-Highway Tires’ Alliance Tire Group has the pedigree to launch megahit tyres like IF & VF in the farming sector. 
 
Speaking at the launch event held in Ludhiana, Harinder Singh, President of APAC, quoted. “At YOHT, we have always focused on improving farm productivity by providing cutting-edge products in an affordable range. The special thing about AGRI STAR II R-I is that it has been created to address the need of end-users, expressly farmers. The life of an agriculture tyre, along with its mid-life efficiency, was a farmer’s concern and  Agri Star II R – I  explicitly addresses this issue.”

Stratified Layer Technology, or SLT, combines distinctive layers, providing increased lug competency. The top layer has a single-angle profile, and the bottom layer has a multi-angle profile. After 40% wear, the multi-angle profile layer of the lug comes in proximity to the ground. This results in increased contact area at the core region and augmented grip and roadability.

The AGRI STAR II R-I has a long tread life, excellent roadability, and superb traction. It also guarantees low soil compaction, enhanced braking performance, and a better capacity for self-cleaning.
