Tractor Sales Yearly Report 2019-20 - Total Sales dropdown by 10.06%

Market leader Mahindra tractor sales  reported 7.84%percent decline to 291,901 units in FY 20 units as compared to 3,16, 742 units year ago period. Mahindra tractor sales decline in FY20 but they hold 41.17 market shares which is 1% greater than Mahindra’s market share in FY19. 

India’s 2nd Largest Tractor Manufacturer TAFE Group losses 1.41 market share in FY20 compared to FY19. As TAFE domestic tractor sales were registered 144693 units in FY19 and in FY20 it was registered only 120151 units which were decreased by 16.96%.

Escorts tractors recorded 11.64% fall of domestic tractor sales. In FY19, 93087 units of tractor sold and in FY20, 82252 units of tractors were sold. Escort also lost market share by 0.21.

Sonalika tractors domestic sales were 82959 units in FY20 and it was recorded 95976 units in FY19 which indicates 13.56% of the drop in the tractor sales. Sonalika also lost 0.47 of domestic market share in FY20.

John Deere Tractor gaines highest 3.5% Market share in last 5 years. John Deere India performed well. Deere’s domestic tractor sales increased by 0.28% in the year FY20 and it also successfully grab 9.64% market share which is 1% higher than the previous year. 

Kubota Tractors recorded highest growth in FY20, among all the brands. Sales had stood at 12924 units in FY20 and in FY19 it was 10876 units which display 18.83% of growth. It also holds 1.82% of domestic market share.     

New Holland Tractors domestic sales were also dropped by 14.43% in FY20. New Holland sold 26747 units in FY20 and in FY19 it was 31256 units sold. With the decline in sales, New Holland also lost market share by 0.19%. 

VST shakti’s domestic tractor sales declined by 11.45% to 6703 units in FY20 against 7570 units in FY19.  

This year proves a positive year for Captain Tractors because it holds 5.57% of tractor sales growth along with it also holds 0.44% of a market share. 

In FY 2020 Force domestic tractor sales were reduced by 12.92% in comparison to 2019. 

Indo Farm Tractor sales declined by 8.96% in FY 2020 compared to FY 2019. Indo Farm sales were 3158 units in the previous year and in 2020 it was registered 2875 units. Indo Farm tractors maintain its market share in the domestic market. 

Same Deutz Fahr manage to have 0.58% market share but its tractor sales were declined by 3.78%.  

Preet tractor sales decreased by 27.37% in 2020 compared to 2019. 

ACE tractors recorded a vast drop in domestic sales. ACE tractor sales recorded 1531 units of decline
