Shenu Agarwal Appointed as New MD & CEO of Ashok Leyland

On 8th Dec 2022, Thursday, Ashok Leyland announced Shenu Agarwal as New MD & CEO from immediate effect. 

As an in-charge, Agrawal will lead and drive the company’s technology development, growth and future strategies, with a vision to make Ashok Leyland the leader in the top 10 commercial vehicle players globally — said the company’s statement. 

About Shenu Agarwal

Shenu Agarwal, before Ashok Leyland, was a president at Escorts Kubota Ltd. There, he was Chief Executive for agribusiness for almost 7 years. In Escorts, he was closely ensuring Escorts's transformation to become a  leader in contemporary global quality standards, design and manufacturing.

Dheeraj Hinduja, Executive Chairman of Ashok Leyland said — “Shenu Agarwal has a track record of being a leader in the business conglomerate. He is an experienced allrounder with great capacity to work in different disciplines.”
