Retail Tractors Sales Report July 2024: Tractor Sales Dropped by 11.95%, 79,970 Units Sold

On July 5, 2024, FADA released retail tractor sales data revealing a total of 79,970 units sold in July 2024, compared to 90,821 units in July 2023. This indicates an 11.95% decline in tractor sales in India for July 2024.

In July 2024, Mahindra sold 18,422 tractors, which is lower than the 20,914 tractors sold in the same month last year, indicating an 11.92% sales decline. Despite this, the company's market share grew to 0.01% in July 2024.

Swaraj Tractor, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra, saw a 0.72% decrease in tractor sales, selling 16,265 units in July 2024 compared to 16,383 units in July 2023. However, Swaraj Tractor's market share increased by 2.30%.

In 2024, International Tractors Limited sold 11,141 tractors in India, slightly more than the 11,063 units sold in July 2023. The company also increased its market share by 1.75%.

Escorts Tractor sold 8,274 units in July 2024, fewer than the 8,534 units sold in July 2023, marking a 3.05% decrease in sales. Despite this, the company's market share increased by 0.95%.

TAFE Limited sold 7,884 units in July 2024, 36.52% fewer tractors than the 12,420 units sold in July 2023. The company saw a 3.82% decline in its market share.

John Deere Tractor sold 6,251 units in July 2024, slightly more than the 5,529 units sold in July 2023. This represents a 13.06% increase in sales, and the company's market share also increased by 1.73%.

Eicher Tractor sold 5,420 units in July 2024, 20.25% less than the 6,796 units sold in July 2023. The company’s market share decreased by 0.70%.

CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd sold 3,018 units in July 2024 compared to 3,191 units in July 2023, showing a 5.42% sales decline. However, the company gained 0.26% in market share.

Kubota Tractor sold 1,461 units in July 2024, down from 1,876 units in July 2023, a 22.12% decrease in sales. Their market share also grew slightly less by about 0.24%.

Other brands experienced a 55.43% decrease in sales, with 1,834 units sold in July 2024 compared to 4,115 units in July 2023. Consequently, their market share decreased by 2.24%.
