Retail Tractor Sales Report Jan 2025 - Sales Increased by 5.23%, 93,381 Units Sold

On February 6, 2025, FADA released retail tractor sales data, revealing a total of 93,381 units sold in January 2025, compared to 88,741 units in January 2024. This indicates a 5.23% increase in tractor sales in India for January 2025.

Brand-Wise Tractor Sales Performance – January 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (Tractor Division) sold 22,072 tractors in January 2025, higher than the 20,492 tractors sold in January 2024, indicating a 7.71% sales growth. The company's market share increased by 0.55% compared to January 2024.

Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (Swaraj Division) saw a 5.26% increase in tractor sales, selling 17,332 units in January 2025 compared to 16,466 units in January 2024. This reflects 0% growth, with its market share remaining unchanged at 18.56%.

Escorts Kubota Limited (Agri Machinery Group) sold 9,123 units in January 2025, more than the 8,188 units sold in January 2024, indicating an 11.42% growth in sales. The company’s market share increased by 0.54% compared to January 2024.

John Deere India Pvt Ltd (Tractor Division) sold 6,641 units in January 2025, higher than the 5,731 units sold in January 2024. This reflects a 15.88% increase in sales, while the company’s market share increased by 0.65% compared to January 2024.

Eicher Tractors sold 5,960 units in January 2025, down from 6,230 units in January 2024, representing a 4.33% decline in sales. The company’s market share decreased by 0.64% compared to January 2024.

CNH Industrial (India) Pvt Ltd sold 4,011 units in January 2025 compared to 3,509 units in January 2024, showing a 14.31% sales growth. The company’s market share increased by 0.35% compared to January 2024.

Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. sold 1,631 units in January 2025, slightly fewer than the 1,738 units sold in January 2024, representing a 6.16% decrease in sales. The company’s market share decreased by 0.21% compared to January 2024.

Other Brands experienced a 9.56% decrease in sales, with 3,492 units sold in January 2025 compared to 3,861 units in January 2024. Consequently, their market share decreased by 0.61% compared to January 2024.
