Mahindra Tractor Sales Report September 2023 : Sold 42034 Units, Dropped by 11%

1 Oct 2023, Mahindra & Mahindra released Tractor Sales Report for September 2023. The company sold 42034 units in September 2023 as against 47100 units in September 2022 in the Domestic market. Company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2023 shows a 11% decline. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's Tractor Sales Report for September 2023 also shows a 27% drop. As, the company sold 1176 units in September 2023 in the Export market as against 1613 units sold in September 2022.

Mahindra & Mahindra also announced Year to Date (YTD) Tractor sales figures for 2023. The company sold 198724 units in 2023 as against 202305 units in 2022 in the Domestic market. Company's domestic tractor sales statistics for 2023 shows a 2% drop. On the other hand, in the Export market, Mahindra's YTD Tractor Sales Report 2022 shows a 35% drop.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said “We have sold 42,034 tractors in the domestic market during September 2023. Smart recovery in Kharif sowing with more than 110 mn hectares and the start of festive fervour is expected to bring positive sentiments among the farmers. Normal rains in September have helped overall monsoon to achieve near normal levels and this will help in Rabi sowing, especially in Central, Northern and Western regions of the country. In the exports market, we have sold 1,176 tractors.”
