Mahindra Sold 34,153 units, Sales Boost by 50% in May

Mahindra Total sales (Export + Domestic) boosted by 48% in May. The company sold 34722 units this month and 24184 units in May 2021, which shows a growth in sales. 

On Wednesday, Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) revealed a monthly sales report that shows a 50% tractor sales hike in the domestic market to 34,153 units in May 2022.

M&M said in a report that the company had sold 22,843 units in May 2021. It added that all-out deals also bounced 48% to 35,722 units in May this year compared to 24,184 units in the same month of the previous year.

In the month, exports remained at 1,569 units, contrasted with 1,341 units in May last year, up 17%, the brand said.

As per Hemant Sikka, M&M President, Farm Equipment Sector, this is on the back of the 51% development accomplished in April 2022.

"With the opportune appearance of the south-west storm and figure of a typical rainstorm, the kharif crop is supposed to convey record generation," he added.

Sikka further added that food costs keep on being high, guaranteeing better compensation for farmers for their produce, making a positive feeling, and more tractors demand and rural transport.

In the export market, the brand sold 1569 units, a hike of 17% over a year ago.
