In 2011, they launched the program with the government of Gujarat to provide technologically advanced equipment on pay-per-hour basis for small farmers and since then, John Deere has encouraged policy reforms in state and central governments to establish more and more private-public partnerships. Nadiger said John Deere’s investments over the past 20 years have been extremely successful. In fact, he said, tractors and harvesters made in India by the company are exported to over 110 countries worldwide and John Deere India has been awarded for Export Excellent Promotion Council award for 15 consecutive years.
