Escorts farm Machinery on Monday reported 19.5 percent decline in its domestic sales of tractor at 3,763 units in August 2019.
The company has reported 4,674 units of sales in domestic market in FY'19, as per a regulatory filing.
However, company's exports shot up 97.1 percent at 272 units last month as compared to 138 units in the same month year ago.
Total sales (domestic+exports) declined by 16.1 percent at 4,035 units in August FY'19 as against 4,812 units in same month in FY'19.
During April-August period, the domestic sales of tractor dipped 16.7 percent at 28,390 units.
Company's total Tractor sales in the first five months of the current financial year stood at 29,946 units, witnessing 14.2 per cent de-growth, as compared to 34,916 units in the same period last year.
