The most popular Case India company made a plan to develop as the second largest in 3 years in the backhoe loader segment.
The present sales of the backhoe loader segment are 38,000 units annually. Also, the company holds a 7% market share.
In a view, Government investment plans in infrastructure may hit the sale of construction equipment. So, Case India is expecting a strike in backhoe loader sales in India. However, the company is looking forward to and sees its position as the second largest in the backhoe segment. In 3 years, Case New Holland Construction Equipment India, a brand of CNH, ensured its profit figure in double digit growth.
Fabrizio Cepollina, Vice President of CNH Industrial Construction Segment, said, "In the last one decade we have spent USD 200 million in India. Our aim is to double the current market share to 12-15% in the backhoe loader segment within the next three years to consolidate our position as the second largest player in the country in a much more solid way,".
Case India introduced 3 advanced backhoe loaders, which are 770 EX Plus, 770 NXe 49.5hp and 851 FX CP variant, in a five day (starting from 17 May) construction equipment trade fair. These machines are being produced in the organisation's 40 section of land Pithampur plant, devoted to construction equipment needs. 70-75% of the limit is used currently.
Alok Jha stated, "In India, the prime categories of backhoe loaders are compact, 50HP, 75HP and 90H and CASE is present in all across these categories."
For the most part, these machines are utilised in regions that require quicker completion time, like digging, unearthing, breaking black-top, laying streets, stacking and considerably more at the place of work with extra attachments.
Currently, JCB India dominates this segment and holds 80% of the market share, with the most significant construction plant in Ballabgarh.
Case India expects to increase its export and share in the market. Today's share of the company is 50% of its overall sales. In addition, the company aims to penetrate technological driven markets along with upcoming new emission norms.
Cepollina said, "For us it is important that we make a good deal with good corporate groups in order to grow our business. Our Pithampur plant is catering to 75 countries in Africa and the Middle east, Asia Pacific region. When the industry will embark on CEV stage-V it will open doors for more mature markets like Europe and North America which will create additional demand,".
Case India company has 66 dealers all over India with 203 touchpoints in the domestic market.
